Hey man, it's been a while since I've posted anything...but here is a night painting done in two sessions. There are more coming. Looking forward to hearing from you. Believe it or not, I did not use any blacks in this painting...mixed my own from blues, yellows, and reds.

brian- very nice shift in temperature from that slightly cool brown in the lower left to the hotter pink in the lower right. isolated, i bet that brown would look warm, but relative to the pink it feels cooler and disappears into the shadows. it makes it feel like you are not moving through the painting in terms of depth, but that of light and shadow. i also like that you gave special treatment to the effects of light as they moved up into that open area on the right hand side. although i can't see the light source, i feel like i can reach around the trees and touch it! cheers!
